The Opportunity

Join our Monetization Data Science team to directly impact how creators earn revenue on our platform. As a Data Scientist focused on Payouts & Creator Economics, you’ll ensure fair, transparent, and innovative compensation systems for thousands of global creators. Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Legal teams to refine payout policies, launch new monetization features, and combat fraud—all while growing into a senior technical leader.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze Policy Impact: Measure how payout program changes (e.g., eligibility rules, payment timelines) affect creator behavior and platform economics.
• Own Creator Insights: Develop dashboards and reports tracking payout performance, earnings trends, and program health.
• Drive Causal Inference: Apply methods like DiD, matching, and IPW to evaluate non-experimental policy shifts.
• Build Data Pipelines: Create and maintain SQL/Python workflows for recurring analytics (owning data ops when needed).
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Guide product decisions by translating data into actionable strategies for stakeholders.
• Support Innovation: Shape new monetization initiatives to expand creator opportunities globally.

Your Expertise

• 3+ years in Data Science, Analytics, or related field.
• Technical Fluency: Advanced SQL (complex joins, window functions), Python (Pandas, SciPy) or R for data analysis, Causal inference mastery (experiment design, quasi-experimental methods).
• Communication: Distill technical insights for executives, legal teams, and engineers.
• Ownership Mentality: Thrive in ambiguity; proactively solve problems with imperfect data.
• Growth Mindset: Eager to evolve from tactical analytics to strategic leadership.

Bonus Points For

• Airflow, SageMaker, or ML deployment experience (fraud/churn models).
• Econometrics background or A/B test design.
