Position Overview: Director, Business Analytics (Finance & Ops)

This role leads a high-performing team of analysts partnering with Finance, Operations, and Risk & Trading. The director will build scalable analytics foundations, establish a single source of truth for critical metrics, and enable self-serve tools across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead & Develop the Team: Manage, coach, and grow a team of analysts while fostering a culture of collaboration.
  • Partner with Business Functions: Build relationships with stakeholders, align analytics with business cycles, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Build Scalable Analytics Foundations: Define golden metrics, operationalize data through dbt, semantic layers, and BI tools, and streamline workflows.
  • Enable Self-Serve Analytics: Create dashboards and curated datasets; prototype AI-powered analytics tools.
  • Deliver Impactful Insights: Provide timely analysis to drive improvements in forecast accuracy, efficiency, and risk management.

Who You Are

  • 10+ years in analytics or related fields with at least 4 years managing teams.
  • Proven leader experienced in growing high-performing teams and scaling analytics functions.
  • Skilled stakeholder influencer with strong SQL, dbt, and modern BI tool expertise (Looker, Sigma, Tableau).
  • A strategic thinker excited about self-serve analytics and next-generation tools.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary between $210,000 and $230,000 plus target equity.
  • Unlimited PTO, 16 weeks of fully paid parental leave, and a $500 home office allowance.
  • Connected virtual-first culture and comprehensive health, dental, vision, and 401k benefits (5% match).
