Data Science Intern - Generative AI

About the Role

CrowdStrike’s cybersecurity data is one-of-a-kind: processing over 300 billion behavioral events per day and managing more than 1 petabyte of malware samples. As a Data Science Intern - Generative AI, you will collaborate with scientists, software engineers, and product managers to drive innovation in AI-powered cybersecurity.

What You'll Do

• Apply generative AI technologies to tackle cybersecurity challenges.
• Build AI assistants, data generation models, and refine threat detection.
• Work with Sr. Data Scientists on GANs, diffusion models, and reinforcement learning.
• Create and refine AI agents for detecting and mitigating cyber threats.
• Automate and visualize processes in the generative AI development pipeline.

What You'll Need

Currently pursuing a University degree in Computer Science, Maths, Information Systems, Engineering, or related fields; coursework in linear algebra, calculus, statistics, machine learning; proficiency in Python; understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms; passion for generative AI technologies.

Bonus Points

• PhD or Master’s students are encouraged to apply.
• Experience with large datasets and neural network architectures.
• Familiarity with Linux, cloud computing, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity challenges and AI applications.
• Willingness to contribute to open source communities.
