Job Description
Overview
Umbrex is recruiting a Global Warehouse Operating Model Consultant - Oracle WMS for a leading global consumer packaged goods company undergoing a major transformation from on-prem Oracle to Oracle Cloud.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead global design workshops to define the end-to-end warehouse operating model
- Develop a global warehouse process template aligned to future-state operations
- Define roles and responsibilities across warehouse functions
- Translate business processes into Oracle WMS functional requirements
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders for alignment across supply chain and logistics workstreams
Qualifications
- Experience leading warehouse process transformation initiatives
- Deep expertise in end-to-end warehouse operations and operating model design
- Experience translating business processes into system-enabled capabilities
- Oracle WMS experience is preferred
- Business process expert; not focused on technical system configuration
Additional Details
This contract role has a duration of 10-12 weeks (with potential extension), requires full-time commitment (5 days per week) and involves hybrid work with regular travel to the Midwest and potential international travel.
