Role Overview
As a Cybersecurity Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in securing systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and safeguarding digital assets. This internship is ideal for students or freshers looking to build a career in cybersecurity and information security.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and logs.
- Assist in identifying system vulnerabilities and implementing preventive measures.
- Conduct risk assessments and penetration testing under guidance.
- Help design and update security policies and compliance reports.
- Support the IT team in responding to security incidents.
- Research emerging threats, malware, and attack vectors.
Requirements
- Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or related fields.
- Basic understanding of network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Familiarity with tools like Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite, or Kali Linux preferred.
- Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
