This Cybersecurity Intern role is designed for students or freshers eager to gain hands-on experience in securing systems and safeguarding digital assets.

Role Overview

In this role, you will monitor security alerts, identify vulnerabilities, conduct risk assessments, and support the IT team in responding to security incidents. You will also research emerging threats and assist in policy and compliance report updates.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts and logs.
• Identify system vulnerabilities and implement preventive measures.
• Conduct risk assessments and penetration testing under guidance.
• Assist in designing and updating security policies and compliance reports.
• Support IT team in responding to security incidents.
• Research emerging threats, malware, and attack vectors.

Requirements

• Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
• Basic understanding of network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
• Familiarity with tools like Wireshark, Metasploit, Burp Suite, or Kali Linux.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
