The Opportunity
Ulteig is seeking talented and motivated Studies level engineering candidates to support power system studies and transmission planning projects within the renewable energy and power markets.
What You'll Do
The Studies Engineer will perform system studies including short circuit, arc flash, load flow, transient overvoltage, and harmonics using PSSE, ETAP, EasyPower, PSCAD and other software packages. This role involves quality support for wind, solar, and BESS generator owners in a fast-paced environment, developing procedures for new study areas, supporting business development, and utilizing python scripting to improve process efficiency.

What We Expect From You
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent, with a minimum of 4 years working experience, including 3 years in power systems. Programming skills in Python, EIT status with progression toward PE certification, and strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal abilities are required. You must also have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.
