The Contingent Workforce Program team sits at the intersection of People, Product, Finance, Procurement, Legal, IT, and Security. We are responsible for designing, scaling, and operating UKG’s global contingent workforce model across Staff Augmentation, SOW Services, and Independent Contractor engagements. As UKG continues to transform internally and differentiate in the market, this team plays a critical role in enabling growth, ensuring compliance, strengthening governance, and translating operational excellence into repeatable, enterprise-grade solutions.About The Role
The Senior Contingent Workforce Program Manager is an operational execution leader responsible for driving UKG’s Contingent Workforce Blueprint into action. This role owns critical initiatives across global VMS and MSP deployment, governance and compliance modernization, automation and analytics, and cross-functional alignment. This person partners closely with program users, vendors, and our partners in HR, Finance, Legal, Procurement, IT, and Security to ensure the contingent workforce program supports business growth while maintaining audit readiness, IPO preparedness, and operational stability. Success in this role requires strong program management, deep contingent workforce expertise, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to operate comfortably in ambiguity and change.Key Focus Areas Include
- Executing the global VMS and MSP implementation and ongoing optimization, including AI-enabled automation and analytics
- Standardizing and governing contingent workforce processes across Staff Aug, SOW, and Independent Contractors
- Ensuring global compliance, classification accuracy, and audit defensibility
- Driving spend transparency, operational efficiency, and executive-ready insights
- Supporting IPO readiness, M&A integration, and strategic workforce planning initiatives
- Maintaining day-to-day operational excellence while leading transformation efforts
About You
You are a results-oriented program leader who understands both the strategy and mechanics of contingent workforce management. You excel at turning complex objectives into clear execution plans, influencing across functions without direct authority, and balancing transformation with operational continuity. You bring a strong point of view, a bias for action, and a passion for building scalable, compliant workforce solutions.Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in contingent workforce management
- Proven experience leading complex, global programs (e.g., VMS, MSP, platform implementations, or operating model transformations)
- Strong knowledge of contingent workforce models including Staff Augmentation, SOW, and Independent Contractors
- Demonstrated experience in governance, compliance, audit readiness, and risk management
- Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data, dashboards, and reporting to drive decisions
- Experience implementing and operating within VMS and MSP ecosystems
- Experience representing programs through public speaking, presentations, or executive-level briefings (internal and external)
- Exposure to IPO readiness activities, M&A integrations, or large-scale enterprise transformations
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with AI, automation, or advanced analytics applied to workforce or operational programs
- Experience partnering with Product, Strategic Alliances, or customer-facing teams
- Professional certifications such as CCWP, SHRM, PMP, or equivalent
- Experience representing programs through public speaking, presentations, or executive-level briefings (internal or external)

The pay range for this position is $115,100 to $165,450. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and work location. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus plan and to receive restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
