About the Role
The Lead Product Manager - UK Payroll Compliance at UKG will own the product strategy for in-country compliance in Germany. You will collaborate with GTM, Pre-Sales, and Managed Services teams to ensure our products meet each country's nuanced compliance requirements by considering global, local, and company-specific needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate local legislation into actionable product requirements.
- Guide cross-functional teams through full product lifecycle from ideation to market release.
- Define and execute product roadmaps for Payroll and WFM compliance.
- Gather and reconcile data from multiple sources to drive decisions.
- Diagnose feature gaps and technical bugs with engineering teams.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have 6-7 years of experience in HR, payroll, financial, or tech environments. A strong background in Agile/Scrum methodologies and familiarity with tools such as JIRA and Azure DevOps are required. Experience with relational databases, APIs, and a university degree in a relevant field is essential. A proven track record of leading large-scale projects in a global product organization and deep knowledge of local payroll and WFM compliance is a must.
