About the Role
The Lead Product Manager German Payroll at UKG will own the Product Strategy for In-Country Compliance in Germany. The candidate must have deep expertise in German payroll and be fluent in German. They will lead the product roadmap for Payroll and Workforce Management (WFM) compliance, ensuring alignment with local regulatory requirements and market expectations while integrating with the broader platform.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute product roadmaps for German Payroll and WFM compliance.
- Collaborate with GTM, Pre-Sales, and Managed Services teams.
- Translate local legislation into clear product requirements.
- Guide cross-functional teams from ideation through market release.
- Diagnose feature gaps and work with engineering on technical bugs.
Qualifications
- 6-7 years of experience in HR, payroll, financial, or tech environments.
- Proven leadership in large-scale projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Understanding of relational databases and APIs.
- University degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Deep knowledge of local payroll and WFM compliance in Germany.
