Role Overview

As a Staff Content Designer on the Design Systems & Devices team, you will be embedded in projects across our global UX organization, writing clear and effective product copy for web and native apps. Your work will help users discover content and learn effectively on our platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write user-facing product copy including buttons, error messages, onboarding flows, and in-product education.
  • Collaborate with product designers, researchers, engineers, and localization teams to ensure content clarity and consistency.
  • Balance product and brand voice while applying accessibility and usability best practices.
  • Contribute to voice and tone standards, UX storytelling guidance, and content best practices across the organization.
  • Document patterns in our design system to support cohesive user and brand experience.
  • Advocate for user-centered content design and mentor peers.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of content design, UX writing, or product copywriting experience.
  • Solid portfolio demonstrating clear, empathetic, and effective user-facing copy.
  • Experience with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and applying them in digital contexts.
  • Proven ability to simplify complex ideas through UX storytelling.
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary, global teams and with localization partners.
  • Experience with design systems and content governance.
  • Strong time management skills across multiple time zones.
