Overview

UBS is seeking a Tech Data Engineer - Integration Fabric who is passionate about Data Engineering and Data Integration Platforms. In this role, you will support complex Data Platforms on Azure, contribute to the evolution of our strategic Integration Fabric product, and work in a global environment where ideas and effort are valued.

Your Role

The ideal candidate will:

  • Respond to production incidents and identify root causes.
  • Implement strategies to boost system reliability and performance.
  • Engineer operational improvements such as predictive monitoring, auto-scaling, and self-healing.
  • Support quality control and project management tasks.

Your Team

You will join the Integration Engineering crew in Technology Inventories Data & Reporting Services (TIDRS) and be part of the Integration Fabric pod serving a global team of over 400 colleagues.

Your Expertise

  • Strong problem solving skills with a background in software development and programming.
  • Experience with Power BI administration, Python, SQL, and Big Data/NoSQL databases.
  • Adoption of software engineering practices to enhance application resiliency.
  • Familiarity with instrumentation, performance analysis, log analytics, automated testing, and deployment.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain complex ideas.
