About the Role

UBS is seeking a detail-oriented Real Estate Asset Analyst to provide analytical and asset management support for a portfolio of 12 to 16 Commercial and Industrial investment properties. The role involves financial analysis, ARGUS Enterprise model maintenance, lease analysis, and assisting asset managers on diverse tasks including Hold/Sell analyses, valuation reviews, and capital project planning.

Main Responsibilities

  • Monitor asset operating performance and key property financials.
  • Update ARGUS Enterprise models quarterly with updated leasing and market data.
  • Prepare investment proposals, Hold/Sell analyses, and internal forecasts.
  • Conduct lease analyses including NPV, IRR, payback, and net effective rent calculations.
  • Assist in capital project planning, annual operating budget development, and property dispositions.
  • Participate in discussions with third-party brokers and support broader team initiatives.
  • Engage in Prop-Tech, Income Innovation projects and Sustainability initiatives.
  • Occasional travel to assigned properties.

Your Team & Environment

This role is part of the UBS Asset Management team based in the Dallas office, offering exposure to financial, operational, and strategic aspects of institutional real estate. You will work closely with senior asset managers, portfolio managers, and third-party service providers in a collaborative environment.

Required Expertise

  • 3+ years in commercial real estate, asset management, acquisitions, or underwriting.
  • Strong understanding of discounted cash flow analysis and time value of money.
  • BS degree in business, finance, economics, or real estate.
  • Expertise in Word, Excel, and ARGUS Enterprise.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, RealPage, VTS, or similar financial software.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
