About the Role
The QA Automation Engineer role at UBS involves developing and executing automated tests for complex systems in a global banking technology environment. The role requires a strong background in software testing, a deep understanding of the SDLC, and experience in building automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, and Rest Assured.
Your Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for process automation and improvement.
- Analyze applications and develop testing strategies.
- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks.
- Engage proactively with QA Manager and project stakeholders.
- Work with global teams in North America, Europe, and India.
Your Team
You will work as a key member of the WMA IT Banking Technology team, supporting a diverse suite of applications including sales, marketing, client onboarding, core banking, lending, mortgage, payments, cards, and servicing.
Your Expertise
- Over 10 years of experience testing complex systems.
- Proficiency in Java, Typescript, or Python.
- Deep understanding of test management tools (JIRA, Squash) and CI tools (Gitlab).
- Experience in banking and financial markets.
- Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and communication skills.
