Your Role as Global Banking Audit Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, lead and execute audits and issue assurances.
• Highlight where controls function well or need improvement for managing current and emerging risks, escalating significant concerns.
• Develop issues and audit reports according to internal standards, fully supported by work done, and agree them with relevant stakeholders.
• Actively perform continuous risk assessments of in-scope businesses as a subject matter expert.
• Proactively collaborate with peers across audit teams.
• Build and maintain constructive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, including senior management.

Your Team

You’ll be working in the Global Banking Audit team within the Investment Bank Audit Stream in New York or Stamford, focusing on auditing businesses such as Leveraged Capital Markets, Corporate Lending, Mergers & Acquisitions, Commercial Real Estate Finance, Debt and Equity Capital Markets.

Your Expertise

• Bachelor or Master degree or equivalent focusing on finance, business administration or accounting / auditing.
• Ideally 7 years of audit experience in capital markets such as Leveraged Capital Markets, Corporate Lending, Mergers & Acquisitions, Real Estate Finance, Debt and Equity Capital Markets, preferably in internal auditing in an investment bank.
• Strong analytical skills and quantitative approach to problem-solving.
• Able to quickly understand complex processes and challenge the status quo, identifying risks and inadequacies.
• Willingness to keep up with industry, regulatory developments and learn new concepts and methods.
• Ability to effectively communicate with senior stakeholders.
• Ideally familiarity with data analytics tools.
