About the Cloud DevOps Engineer Role

UBS is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer passionate about leading-edge cloud technologies and enterprise-scale application development. The role focuses on designing, delivering, and evangelizing Azure Cloud solutions that align with business and IT requirements. You will be responsible for building and improving cloud infrastructure, implementing automation and modern best practices, as well as developing CI/CD pipelines and test harnesses for the entire application estate.

Your Responsibilities

  • Evangelize, design and deliver Azure Cloud solutions.
  • Develop and improve cloud infrastructures and automation.
  • Implement and manage modern CI/CD pipelines.
  • Apply DevOps principles and design robust test harnesses.
  • Assess requirements and propose appropriate tools and technologies.

Your Expertise

  • Strong UNIX/LINUX/Windows core OS and scripting skills.
  • Experience with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools.
  • 2+ years hands-on with Azure Cloud Infrastructure, Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Experience with Middleware technologies and deployment automation.
  • Exposure to cloud deployment technologies and monitoring tools like App Dynamics, Grafana, and Prometheus.

Your Team and Working Environment

You will join the Asset Management Technology team at UBS and work in one of their offices worldwide. The team emphasizes modern application development through Agile, DevOps and continuous improvement practices. Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid working are available.
