About the Role
Ubisoft is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst to lead their financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting systems. This role is crucial for an upcoming company-wide ERP system rollout. You will bridge the gap between Financial Planning, Accounting, IT, and other business units, acting as the primary expert for system administration, process enhancements, and automation initiatives. The position is based in Europe and reports to the Senior Director, Financial Planning.
What You'll Do
In this position, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining financial planning, consolidation, and reporting systems, ensuring their optimal performance and data accuracy. Your contributions will be vital for processes like intercompany rebilling, forecasting, and cash flow budgeting. You will leverage your technical skills to develop and refine rules, scripts, and reports. Your primary focus will be on driving automation and continuous improvement to create more efficient and user-friendly financial tools for Ubisoft's Global Publishing organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary administrator for financial planning, consolidation, and reporting tools.
- Build, optimize, and troubleshoot load rules, business rules, and calculation scripts.
- Proactively enhance financial systems for operational budget, forecast, and financial reporting.
- Manage system implementations and updates, providing training and process documentation.
- Serve as a business partner to end-users, driving process automation and improving user experience.
- Support monthly forecast, budget, and month-end close cycles.
- Ensure complete, accurate, and timely financial data loads with validation checks.
- Oversee the intercompany rebilling process for accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
- Implement and coordinate cash flow forecast processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise planning/reporting tools (e.g., Hyperion Essbase, Oracle planning tools).
- Previous involvement in large-scale system projects.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- SQL or scripting knowledge is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for automation and continuous improvement.
- Fluency in English is required.
