About the Role

The Développeur.se de Communauté at Ubisoft will establish and grow communities around Ubisoft games. This involves mastering communication with players, improving games through feedback cycles, and deploying best practices. The role directs global community strategy across one or several brands, executing world-class plans and working with an international team to build trust and relationships with players worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic community plans supporting production and marketing objectives.
  • Coordinate communications and initiatives with global departments ensuring consistent messaging.
  • Mobilize Community Managers and interdisciplinary teams to create meaningful content (blogs, podcasts, interviews, infographics, etc.).
  • Act as a spokesperson for assigned brands and organize community events such as studio visits, developer dialogues, and tournaments.
  • Collaborate with Social Media Managers to define, measure, and report content KPIs demonstrating ROI.
  • Support internal and external milestones such as betas and launches to meet KPIs while defending player experience.
  • Represent player feedback within Production and Publishing teams to positively influence game development and marketing.
  • Structure feedback cycles and provide insights to boost player retention and refine marketing messages.
  • Coordinate post-release communications with live teams including patch updates.
  • Prepare internal reports on community feedback, activity and expectations.
  • Travel internationally as required.

Qualifications

  • Intermediate experience managing online communities with proven success in strategic plan execution.
  • In-depth experience in the video game industry across multiple gaming platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, TikTok, Discord, etc.
  • Experience in a fast-paced production environment with multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
  • Proven expertise in community growth, player engagement, and strategic content planning.
  • Ability to coordinate with various stakeholders to integrate player feedback effectively.
  • Fluency in French is required.
  • Experience launching AAA titles, social media marketing, or digital content creation is a plus.
  • Knowledge of various game genres is an advantage.
