Context

The games industry has evolved towards services, emphasizing the need to capture a significant share of players' entertainment time. Acquiring new customers is a challenge, as is retaining them within the Ubisoft ecosystem. The services Ubisoft provides throughout the gamer's journey will be a key differentiator in a highly competitive market. Communication with gamers must be multichannel and personalized: sending the right message, to the right person, at the right moment, through the right channel and on the right device. Ubisoft operates across a variety of owned channels (email, web banners, in-game news, console hubs, mobile notifications...) using specific tools, and collaborates with diverse clients such as Ubisoft HQ, Global Brand Publishing, and production teams worldwide. In this context, CRM Game Strategy aims to improve customer acquisition, retention, and monetization, ensuring player satisfaction at each step of their consumer/gamer journey. By leveraging data and the multiple reach opportunities of CRM channels, game strategy activities foster one-to-one relationships with Ubisoft clients, ultimately driving loyalty within Ubisoft’s ecosystem.

Main Responsibilities

  • Define CRM multi-channel strategies for Ubisoft titles and services.
  • Develop personalized customer journeys based on consumer history and player behaviors.
  • Ensure optimized use of all Owned Media channels (emailing, adserver, in-game, etc.).
  • Identify opportunities for new channels leveraging Consumer Data (web, mobile).
  • Lead lifecycle campaigns coordination and execution.
  • Gather and formalize internal client needs and expectations (production studios, EMEA marketing teams, e-shop, Consumer Knowledge services, Ubisoft Connect, etc.).
  • Plan, coordinate, and set up customer lifecycles for all Ubisoft titles and services.
  • Collaborate with all lifecycles stakeholders (Production, Brand).
  • Optimize the Game Strategy activity process and performance.
  • Develop processes and templates to ensure efficient collaboration with internal clients and operational resources.
  • Identify industry trends, best practices, and opportunities for innovation in direct marketing and consumer experience.
  • Establish KPIs and monitor A/B testing performances.
  • Systematize campaign post-mortems and identify best practices.
  • Develop strong expertise in Consumer Data to build CRM strategies.
  • Initiate and follow up on database analyses in coordination with Data Analyst partners.
  • Elaborate data-driven and customer-oriented recommendations for Marketing teams.
  • Create consumer profiles and audience segmentation based on business objectives.
  • Analyze consumer behaviors and preferences to adjust consumer journeys.
  • Collaborate with IT & BI teams to ensure data availability and activity reports.

Qualifications

Key Competencies

  • First work experience in marketing and/or CRM.
  • Creative, with a proven taste for challenge and innovation.
  • Data-driven and analytical, with expertise in campaign reports.
  • Experience managing web-based applications such as content management systems, social business software, and email service clients.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to carry out and deliver several projects simultaneously and on time.
  • Excellent organizational skills and commitment to detail.
  • Customer-focused, with a strong understanding of data segmentation and targeted messaging.
  • Curious and a team-player.
  • Reactive, capable of handling the pressure of a very fast-paced industry.
  • Proficient in English.

  • [30 minutes]: Phone call with the VP Audience Media & Channels.
