Our new internal recruiting team will scale and support our internal TA program globally by improving our employee recruiting experience, committing to coaching, advocacy, and accessibility to roles and hiring managers, and enabling skill transfers and bridges to other parts of the business which will dramatically improve cross-functional department moves overall!
As a member of this team, you will further your understanding of Uber's talent needs and find, engage, and guide employees through the hiring process. You will be the go-to person for advising hiring teams and owning the internal recruitment strategy to deliver an outstanding employee and hiring manager experience. You will get to foster relationships and partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to hire and inform on hiring strategies to hire the right people for every job where they can make the biggest impact.

- Acknowledgment and evaluation of all internal candidates within 72 hours of application
- Increased cross-functional department moves
- Reduced attrition of employees at inflection points in tenure
- Regaining the trust and confidence of our employees and showing them that recruiting is effectively advocating for their growth
What You'll Do
- Act as a talent advisor for internal employees at Uber
- Ensure that internal employees are acknowledged, evaluated, and dispositioned in a timely manner
- Partner and influence cross-functional stakeholders within the internal recruiting process
- Manage the entire hiring process from application review to offer acceptance
- Develop recruiting strategy to fill open positions and help build an ongoing bench of qualified candidates
- Build relationships and get to know Uber's talent by filtering, screening, and actively engaging talent within the company
- Effectively interpret own and teams metrics to build process improvements
- Deeply understand the candidate and advise the business on motivations and potential implications to hire
- Continuously review the assessment process and proactively realign with stakeholders when faced with bottlenecks
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 4+ years of professional experience
- Experience partnering and influencing stakeholders throughout the hiring process
- Working knowledge of ATS tools and technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition
- Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, Communications, or equivalent
- Experience in full-cycle recruiting in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Track record of success in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to proactively identify inefficiencies and provide recommendations for improvements
- Experience interpreting data and using it to guide hiring decisions
- Track record of partnering with and influencing a wide variety of clients, including senior-level business leaders and seasoned professional candidates
Compensation
- For Dallas, TX-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$110,000 per year - USD$122,000 per year.
- For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$122,000 per year - USD$135,500 per year.
- For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$122,000 per year - USD$135,500 per year.
- For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.
- All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan.
