Senior Product Manager Risk Platform and Tooling

About The Role

The Risk team at Uber is seeking an experienced and passionate Product Manager to own the Risk Platform and Tooling charter. In this role, you will be responsible for building the tools and platform that form the core of Uber's risk management systems.

What You Will Do

As a Senior Product Manager Risk Platform and Tooling, your responsibilities will include:

• Building sophisticated risk solutions and scalable distributed systems.
• Internalizing Uber's mission and aligning various risk team strategies.
• Distilling vision and strategy to align a cross-functional team.
• Utilizing data insights, market and customer research to improve products.
• Driving cross-functional teams to set qualitative and quantitative goals.
• Innovating, planning roadmaps, and designing new products and features.
• Measuring launched products and integrating learnings into development.
• Communicating product plans, benefits, and results to multiple audiences.

What You Will Need

Candidates should have:

• Undergraduate degree in computer science or a quantitative field.
• Minimum 6 years experience in product management, engineering, or data analytics.
• Hands-on software engineering and/or data science experience.
• Excellent collaboration skills with engineering, analytics, and design teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication with influence across teams.
• Ability to use data-driven insights and customer research to solve problems.
• Proven customer empathy and the ability to articulate customer problems.

Preferred qualifications include experience in risk, identity, security, or payments, strong technical fluency, and an MBA or equivalent business insight.
