The Ops Manager is the analytical heart of the France catalog team, operating in a wide playing field containing assortment, content quality, availability and search. Creating relevant insights by extracting and merging product and sales data using SQL and/or Python is a key skill.

The Ops Manager works empirically, finding explanations and solutions in the data, through pilots and trial and error. They have a good end-to-end understanding of online retail and knows how to work as a team with engineers, account managers and merchants. They know how to set priorities, know how to separate main from side business, and know how to work fast and efficiently.

What The Candidate Will Do

  • Own end-to-end responsibility on assortment, item availability, and content quality.
  • Act as owner of merchant catalog onboarding and technical integration, responsible for process follow-up and catalog quality, supervising the project with internal stakeholders (account managers, technical teams).
  • Supervise KPIs, run analysis to understand current state of problems, detect root causes, and drive action plans.
  • Attend/lead meetings and coordinate with project stakeholders, including external partners.
  • Lead, manage, and execute projects related to catalog within cross-functional teams, e.g., create end-to-end processes for KPI improvement, implement process improvements, scale and automate.
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects on specific merchants in collaboration with internal/external stakeholders, both commercial and technical.
  • Track and document results.

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Business experience driving scaled operations and project/program management is a plus.
  • Intermediate SQL skills.
