About The Role

The Customer Experience Analytics (CXA) team powers data-driven decision making across Uber's Community Operations. The Data Analyst II will shape and influence a world class support experience focused on Consumer Growth and new products across the United States & Canada region.

This role drives analyses and experimentation for company-wide decisions while building scalable tools to enable stakeholders to act on data insights. It offers exposure to high-priority projects, collaborating with Operations, Product, and Engineering, and uncovering insights from support interactions to drive improvements.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct analyses to improve customer support interactions.
  • Drive experimentation and quantify support ROI tradeoffs.
  • Own data analysis and visualization to inform strategic decisions.
  • Quantify impact of new products and business processes.
  • Develop analytical frameworks and build scalable data products.

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience in data analytics or similar roles.
  • BA/BS Degree obtained.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience with Tableau, Looker, or similar tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Python or R.
  • Ability to write complex SQL queries.
  • Degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
  • Experience in advanced A/B testing analysis.
  • Knowledge of data pipeline management/ETL.
  • Experience working with customer support or insights.

About The Team

The Regional CXA teams own CommOps' data integrity and reporting, advise leadership priorities with high-value insights, and collaborate with Operations & Product to enhance customer experience.

Compensation & Benefits

For Chicago, IL roles: Base salary between USD 122,000 and USD 135,500 per year. For New York, NY roles: Base salary between USD 135,000 and USD 150,000 per year. Bonus, equity awards, and various benefits are also available. Additional details can be found here.
