About the Role

U.S. Environmental Rental is the leading provider of environmental testing equipment rentals, known for quality, exceptional service, and deep technical expertise. As a Site Director, you will manage individual branches in partnership with a local sales manager. Your role is crucial in organizing and coordinating office administration and procedures, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring safety standards are met. You will also be responsible for developing communication protocols, streamlining administrative processes, managing inventory, supervising office staff, and delegating tasks effectively.

What You'll Do

  • Structure and organize office operations and procedures to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources and IT departments to ensure compliance with office policies and maintain office equipment.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and landlords, including negotiating contracts.
  • Deliver comprehensive support to visitors and clients.
  • Supervise office services, overseeing operations, correspondence, filing systems, supply requests, and clerical assignments.
  • Develop and implement procedural guidelines for record protection, retention, disposal, retrieval, and staff transfers.
  • Formulate, implement, and enforce office policies and location-specific standards; evaluate employee performance and audit targets.
  • Delegate assignments, oversee subordinate tasks, monitor performance, and provide mentorship to staff and department managers.
  • Lead recruitment processes, provide onboarding and training for new employees, and encourage high performance through effective coaching.
  • Open the facility each morning and ensure all systems are operational.
  • Support customer service by managing call handling, forwarding, and maintaining well-organized public areas.
  • Establish and enforce inter-office organization and cleanliness standards.
  • Monitor office supply inventory to maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Conduct reviews and analyses of special projects, keep management informed, and identify trends for actionable recommendations.
  • Distribute training materials, circulate policy and SOP revisions, and confirm timely completion of employee timecards.
  • Collaborate with staff to sustain facility cleanliness across all areas.
  • Maintain consistent communication with all departments to verify task completion.
  • Fulfill all reasonable assignments as delegated.
  • Partner with Human Resources to update office policies when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
  • Managerial experience is a prerequisite.
  • Previous experience as an office manager or similar role preferred.
