The Role: Financial Systems and Process Analyst

This role owns and improves Tyro’s finance systems and workflows in budgeting, forecasting and reporting, ensuring reliability, data integrity and scalable planning to support strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Management & Data Reliability: Daily administration and continuous improvement of IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), Workday GL, and reporting tools with strong controls and reconciliations.
  • Development & Innovation: Automate and streamline budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting; lead AI-driven forecasting and advanced analytics initiatives.
  • Strategic Partnering & Insight: Collaborate with FP&A and Technology; manage external consultants; present recommendations to senior stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement & Change Leadership: Track emerging technologies, lead change management, and champion a culture of innovation and accountability.
  • Training & Enablement: Upskill finance teams with regular TM1/Workday training and new-starter onboarding.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience in financial systems management, particularly IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) and ideally Workday.
  • Proven expertise in cube development, process writing, and report optimisation in TM1.
  • A relevant degree and at least 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in financial process improvement, automation, and embedding AI/ML forecasting solutions.
