We are seeking a motivated and meticulous Wealth Channel Relationship professional to join the Investor Relations team in New York. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, analytical and organizational skills to effectively balance a broad set of responsibilities. The Wealth Relationship will partner with Senior Relationship Managers and Client Service team to build and deepen relationships with existing and prospective investors and ensure a coordinated client experience. The day-to-day includes operating and optimizing the client platform in support of the investment management business. The candidate must be a proven collaborator and self-motivator with sharp attention to detail. - Identify and build relationships in private banking and wealth management networks.
- Deepen connections, originate new opportunities, and guide clients through diligence and onboarding.
- Develop a deep understanding of Two Sigma’s outstanding vision and offerings to effectively position Two Sigma as a truly differentiated investment manager.
- Anticipate the complex financial needs of the client and offer solutions through a range of products, informed by rigorous client profiling.
- Provide regular beneficial engagement - High touch, face-to-face meetings at client's preferred location, consistent communication, access to firm content and resources.
- Proactively source, acquire and expand high-value relationships by maximizing sales and service opportunities.
- Manage client follow-up and adhere to all Regulatory and Compliance operating procedures.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of previous experience in institutional money management, investment consulting, or wealth management.
- Demonstrated experience covering UHNW, private bank, and/or family office channels is strongly preferred.
- BA/BS degree with a strong academic record.
- Strong analytical and financial skills, including comfort with complex investment products and portfolio concepts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present to sophisticated investors.
- Highly organized with strong attention to details.
- Self-starter approach, with an ability to solve problems with appropriate oversight and direction.
- Basic understanding of investment and planning strategies preferred, including alternatives, tax-aware investing and multi-asset portfolio construction.
