The projects you'll support are diverse, encompassing crucial areas like data pipelines (ETL/ELT), APIs, integrations, data warehousing, data modeling, and robust data quality monitoring. This is a remote, US-based contract position, starting with 10–20 hours per week, offering the potential for a long-term collaborative engagement.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage data engineering project delivery, ensuring timelines and priorities are maintained effectively.
- Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to clearly define project scope and requirements.

- Maintain a simple, up-to-date, and transparent project roadmap for easy reference.
- Provide concise, timely status updates to all relevant stakeholders.
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives and enhance project documentation efforts.
- Oversee projects involving critical data infrastructure: data pipelines, APIs, integrations, data warehousing (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, dbt), and comprehensive data quality monitoring.
Skills and Requirements
- Proven experience in managing projects specifically within data or analytics engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of technical concepts including SQL, data schemas, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data warehousing principles.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate technical discussions into actionable tasks.
- Extensive experience with agile methodologies and adept at running sprint ceremonies.
- Ability to effectively track and manage project risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Comfortable working autonomously and effectively in a remote environment.
- Must be based in the United States.
- Availability for 10–20 hours per week, with a strong preference for long-term engagement.
