About the Role
Twine is seeking a Podcast Producer to shape a podcast series dedicated to mental health and lifestyle topics, with a focus on supporting Black women and women of color. This part-time, remote role involves end-to-end production of episodes that blend psychology, real-life experiences, and lifestyle insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full production cycle from planning to publishing
- Edit audio recordings for clarity, flow, and quality
- Collaborate with the host on episode concepts, scripts, and interview questions
- Manage scheduling, recording logistics, and remote guest coordination
- Add music, sound design, and transitions to enhance listener engagement
- Ensure timely delivery of quality episodes
- Assist with uploading episodes to podcast platforms and writing show notes
Requirements
- Experience in producing and editing podcasts or similar audio content
- Proficiency with audio editing software such as Audacity or Adobe Audition
- Strong storytelling skills and understanding of mental health and lifestyle topics
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote setting
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality audio production
- Sensitivity to the experiences of Black women and women of color
- Availability for part-time, contract work
