A Columbus-based live musician is seeking a creative Freelance Website Designer for a website and branding refresh. This project aims to elevate the artist's online presence with a more artistic, modern, and music-industry-friendly look that will appeal to venues, festivals, and fans.

This is not a full rebuild or rebrand, but a focused update to refine the website's layout, visuals, and branding elements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of style, an understanding of music branding, and the ability to create a cohesive visual identity adaptable across digital and print platforms. The refreshed site and branding should authentically reflect the artist's personality, professionalism, and versatility in country, pop, and soft rock genres, ultimately supporting effective gig and festival bookings.

Deliverables

• Redesign and refresh of existing website layout and visuals to achieve a more artistic, professional, and modern feel.
• Light branding update, including cleaned-up logo variations, new color palette, and font recommendations.
• Visual direction that is adaptable for use across website, merchandise, social media, and promotional materials.

Requirements

• Proven experience in web design and branding, preferably for musicians, artists, or creative professionals.

• Proficiency in web design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch) and graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Understanding of responsive design and user experience best practices.
• Ability to deliver polished logo variations, color palettes, and font pairings.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interpret creative direction.
• Availability for a single project with potential for follow-up work.
• Familiarity with the music industry and branding for live performers is a plus.
