PlayerCompass is actively seeking a highly skilled Freelance Web Developer to spearhead the creation of a modern, scalable Minimum Viable Product (MVP) platform. This platform is designed to serve academy and youth football players and their parents, offering an innovative solution in the sports advisory space. The project encompasses the development of two key components: a public-facing marketing website and an authenticated web application.

Marketing Website Requirements

The public marketing site must effectively communicate the platform’s unique value proposition, establish credibility, and highlight its user-friendliness to parents. It will feature dedicated sections outlining the value, intended user base, step-by-step process, and examples of output reports. The design should be impeccably clean, modern, and fully accessible across both mobile and desktop devices, specifically tailored for a non-technical audience.

Web Application Functionality

The authenticated web application will incorporate essential features such as user registration and secure login, a customized player intake questionnaire, and integration with an API for AI-powered career analysis (without requiring custom machine learning development). Key outputs will include comprehensive career reports, with the crucial capability of PDF generation. The platform will also manage payments through Stripe, supporting both one-off transactions and recurring subscriptions, alongside a fundamental admin dashboard for oversight. The underlying architecture is expected to be scalable, robust, and thoroughly documented to ensure seamless future handover and iterative development.

Key Experience Required

Candidates must possess significant experience in developing Software as a Service (SaaS) or data-driven advisory platforms.
