About the Role: Freelance Video Editor at Twine
This role is ideal for a skilled freelance video editor with a strong background in content editing for digital platforms. You will be responsible for refining and enhancing a variety of video and written materials to ensure they align with brand standards and engage audiences effectively. The position involves working on both short-form and long-form content, including TikTok, Reels, Shorts, advertisements, and campaign videos. You will collaborate remotely, managing your workflow independently while meeting tight deadlines and responding to feedback efficiently.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
- Edit and polish video content for multiple platforms, ensuring clarity, consistency, and high production value.
- Add subtitles, transitions, basic motion graphics, sound effects, and background music as required.
- Proofread and refine captions, scripts, and on-screen text to maintain brand voice and accuracy.
- Adapt content to meet platform-specific requirements and brand guidelines.
- Implement revisions based on team feedback and deliver final assets within agreed timelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in video editing for social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong attention to detail in both visual and written content.
- Ability to create engaging motion graphics and integrate sound elements.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Experience proofreading and editing written content, including captions and scripts.
- Familiarity with brand guidelines and adapting content for different audiences.
- Reliable internet connection and availability to deliver projects on schedule.
