About the Role
Join a dynamic creative project focused on editing high-end wedding films in a documentary style as a Freelance Video Editor - Events at Twine. This opportunity starts with an initial batch of 10 projects with potential for ongoing work.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit three distinct films per wedding (1-minute, 5-minute, and 10-minute versions).
- Work with proxy files and deliver edited project files using Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Produce final exports in H.264 and ProRes formats.
- Complete each film within a 2–3 week turnaround post receipt of proxies.
- Ensure high standards in color correction, sound mixing, and finishing.
- Communicate clearly and collaborate throughout the editing process.
Requirements
- Proven experience with documentary, branded content, or cinematic wedding films.
- Advanced proficiency in DaVinci Resolve; Premiere Pro experience is a plus.
- Strong storytelling skills with an eye for pacing and emotional impact.
- Solid understanding of technical aspects like color correction and sound mixing.
- Excellent file management, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Portfolio or examples of relevant work required.
