About the Role
Join a dynamic creative team as a Freelance Video Editor specializing in social and digital content. This fully remote role, based in Canada, supports a busy cinematographer and content producer. You will edit multi-format deliverables optimized for platforms like Instagram Reels using Adobe Premiere Pro and Media Encoder.
Responsibilities
- Edit and deliver high-quality multi-format videos for social and digital platforms.
- Adapt and manage standardized Premiere Pro project templates for each assignment.
- Sync multi-camera angles and audio from Sony FX-series H.264 footage.
- Add captions and basic graphics with the Essential Graphics panel.
- Ensure deliverables meet required specifications (9:16, 1:1, 16:9).
- Collaborate with the Lead Cinematographer & Editor and contribute to workflow improvements.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and maintain organized project files.
Skills and Requirements
- Eligible to work and based in Canada.
- 1–2 years of relevant video editing experience, preferably in social/digital content.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Media Encoder.
- Familiarity with After Effects and captioning software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup.
- Passion for Women’s Sports and LGBTQIA+/BIPOC representation.
