Job Summary
Twine is seeking a skilled Freelance Illustrator to contribute to a confidential, premium educational visual project designed for children aged 3 to 10. This role requires an artist with a strong background in children’s book or educational illustration, capable of producing clear, calming, and engaging visuals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate sensitivity to historical context and a purposeful approach to educational storytelling. Strict confidentiality is paramount, and all project details, concepts, and artwork cannot be shared publicly without explicit written approval. The selected illustrator will collaborate closely with the project lead, ensuring deliverables align with educational objectives and creative vision.
Deliverables
- Create original, child-friendly illustrations supporting educational content for ages 3–10.
- Develop visual concepts and storyboards based on provided briefs and feedback.
- Produce final artwork in digital format, ready for integration into educational materials.
- Revise illustrations as needed to meet project requirements and feedback.
- Maintain strict confidentiality throughout the project, adhering to NDA terms.
Requirements
- Proven experience in children’s book or educational illustration, with a portfolio demonstrating relevant work (portfolio sharing subject to NDA).
- Ability to convey clarity, calmness, and engaging storytelling through illustration.
- Strong understanding of age-appropriate visual communication and educational content.
- Excellent communication skills and responsiveness to feedback.
- Availability to begin work promptly and commit to project timelines.
- Willingness to work under a formal NDA and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Proficiency in digital illustration tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Procreate).
- Professionalism and reliability in remote freelance collaboration.
