The Role: Freelance Growth Marketer
This Freelance Growth Marketer role focuses on driving user acquisition and optimizing conversion rates for a subscription-based streaming service, specifically targeting international audiences. The successful candidate will conduct a comprehensive analysis of the entire customer journey, spanning from initial paid ad campaigns through free trial activation and ultimately to paid subscription conversion. The primary objective is to pinpoint friction points within this journey, propose actionable improvements, and rigorously implement a data-driven testing strategy to significantly boost trial activations and paid subscriber conversions. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in SaaS or streaming platforms and a deep understanding of core growth marketing principles.
Key Deliverables
- Comprehensive audit of the acquisition and conversion funnel, including ad messaging, landing pages, signup flow, onboarding, and pricing presentation.
- Data-driven recommendations for improving conversion rates at each stage of the funnel.
- Development of a prioritized testing roadmap for A/B and multivariate experiments.
- Clear reporting on findings, insights, and the measurable impact of implemented changes.
- Collaboration with internal teams to ensure recommendations are actionable and aligned with business goals.
Required Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in growth marketing for SaaS, subscription, or streaming platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in funnel analysis, conversion rate optimization, and user journey mapping.
- Proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude) and A/B testing platforms.
- Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and communicate findings clearly.
- Familiarity with paid acquisition channels (search, social, display) and landing page optimization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset.
- Availability for project-based work with potential for ongoing collaboration.
