About the Role
The Content Creator – Travel Vlog will document an extraordinary sailing journey from northern Norway through Svalbard, Greenland, Iceland, and along the historic Viking route to Duluth, Minnesota. This project involves producing 20–30 engaging YouTube vlog documentary episodes that authentically capture the voyage, landscapes, and personal experiences.
Deliverables
- Provide mentorship and hands-on guidance in planning, filming, and editing the vlog series.
- Advise on structuring episodes to maximize viewer engagement and narrative flow.
- Offer feedback on raw footage, episode drafts, and final edits for high production quality.
- Share best practices for travel vlogging including equipment selection, on-location shooting, and audio capture.
- Guide the development of a consistent visual and storytelling style.
- Support the creation of a YouTube channel strategy covering branding, audience growth, and content scheduling.
Requirements
- Proven experience in producing or mentoring successful YouTube travel or documentary vlog series.
- Strong knowledge of video production, including camera operation, audio recording, and editing with tools like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
- Ability to explain complex production concepts in a clear and supportive way.
- Familiarity with YouTube content strategy, SEO, and audience engagement techniques.
