About The Job
The Staff Security Enablement Analyst is responsible for developing, implementing, measuring, and managing processes to enhance security enablement at Twilio. The role is pivotal in creating a security-first culture by engaging, training, and empowering employees to support and elevate Twilio’s security posture.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement the Security Champions Program including setting OKRs and processes.
- Create a framework for recruiting and retaining influential Security Champions.
- Organize and lead meetings, forums, and events for collaboration.
- Develop and maintain program documentation, guidelines, and best practices.
- Curate and deliver live training material tailored to team needs.
- Act as a liaison between teams and security functions to facilitate tool rollouts and process adoption.
- Collaborate with Learning and Development teams to integrate security training into existing platforms.
- Work with other security teams to identify further security improvement opportunities.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field (Master’s preferred), 7+ years experience in information security, cybersecurity, or related fields, prior experience with Security Champions or similar programs, strong knowledge of security principles (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS), excellent communication skills, and effective cross-functional collaboration ability.
Desired: Experience in program management, technical training, engagement, secure coding, application security, threat modeling, knowledge of OWASP, and relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CSSLP or OSCP.
Location & Travel
This is a remote role based in British Columbia, Alberta, or Ontario with occasional travel for in-person engagements.
