Join the team as Twilio’s next Sr. Director of Marketing Strategy Analytics and Engineering, where you will lead and elevate global marketing strategy by turning data into actionable insights that drive growth and customer engagement.
About The Job
This role is responsible for shaping marketing decisions, inspiring teams, and delivering results. You will build and lead a team that transforms millions of data points into clear strategies for campaigns, revenue growth, and customer retention.
Responsibilities
- Create a forward-looking point of view on the future of marketing.
- Define and drive global marketing strategies using actionable data and customer insights.
- Build, mentor, and scale the marketing strategy, analytics, and data activation teams.
- Lead planning, forecasting, and OKR setting across marketing functions.
- Partner with Marketing, Finance, and GTM teams to align growth strategies.
- Manage marketing spend efficiencies, ROI analysis, and executive-ready dashboard development.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics or a related field. 10+ years in marketing strategy or data analytics with 5+ years of leadership experience. Expertise in analytics and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Salesforce) with strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Desired: Advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred. Experience in SaaS, tech, or high-growth environments. Certification in marketing analytics or data science is a plus. Passion for innovation, storytelling, and customer-centric thinking.
Location & Travel
This role is remote, but not eligible for hire in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA. Occasional travel may be required for in-person meetings.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary varies by location. For eligible states, estimated ranges exist. In addition, this role may qualify for Twilio’s equity plan, corporate bonus plan and benefits including competitive pay, generous time off, parental and wellness leave, healthcare, and retirement savings.
