About The Job: Solution Acceleration Architect

This position is needed to support the GTM Solutions Sales team. As a Solution Acceleration Architect at Twilio, you will be responsible for accelerating adoption of new solutions and platform capabilities in incubation with our Top Global customers. More specifically, you will be responsible for running build workshops with B2B customers across Twilio’s Global Sales base and building early adoption playbooks, supporting customers in accelerating the time to value from a custom demo, to POC, and eventually to initial deployment/MVP in a production environment. Along the way, you will collaborate closely with Enterprise Architects, Demo Platform Engineering, Professional Services, and SI Partner teams to define the adoption blueprint ahead of launching and graduating the new solutions and platform capabilities.

You will work alongside the rest of the GTM Solutions sales team, but lead the forward-deployed “build with” programs for Global Direct accounts (Global Strategic and New Business) in presales stages, including but not limited to activation events, build hackathons, and workshops that are specifically targeted at driving builder activation, adoption, and value realization of our new solutions and capabilities through the builders within the Direct accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive B2B builder activation events and hackathons at flagship or target Direct accounts to accelerate adoption of new solutions (Strat, NB).
  • Define and refine the adoption blueprint by partnering closely with Enterprise Architects, Demo Platform Engineering, Professional Services, and SI Partner on demos, repos, starter apps, sample code, and companion technical guides that capture the mindshare of the builders within target accounts and the broader B2B builder community specifically in target industries and regions.
  • Drive adoption of the next best solution and platform capabilities for the customers.
  • Evangelize Twilio within the B2B builder communities of the target accounts by driving building of net new POCs and demos that bring to life architectures discussed at the C-suite, line of business levels in the sales cycles.
  • Accelerate customer adoption in paid pilots for new platform capabilities and/or POCs for new solutions at launch.
  • Utilize your software engineering expertise to ensure customers’ builder teams develop full understanding of and familiarity with the whole platform capabilities of the solutions being pitched or sold.
  • Work closely with the Demo Platform Engineering and Enterprise Architect teams to ensure C-suite positioning and the higher level reference architectures are properly activated within the builder communities of the target accounts.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in software development, with a strong understanding of RESTful APIs, web frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience running end-to-end technical program management, working closely with GTM.
  • Proven track record of building custom demos, workshops, and other content to launch new products or solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and executive presence, whether it’s in board rooms with c-level stakeholders, customer meetings, or internal meetings with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to have strong opinions loosely held, and willingness to lean into ambiguity and proof of thriving in such environment previously.
  • Strong understanding of Twilio’s products and services, as well as the broader market dynamics of SaaS, specifically in cloud computing, Gen AI, CRM, CDP, and/or CPaaS.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and work collaboratively.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a track record of thinking outside the box and delivering on “wow”.
  • Prior technical presales and/or solution engineering experience strongly preferred.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree is a plus but not required.
