Join Twilio as our next Software Engineer L3 Backend. You will build a high-scale, mission-critical orchestrator that automates the lifecycle of billions of records, solving challenging distributed state management issues while ensuring compliance and data privacy.
Responsibilities
- Design, code, and debug software.
- Lead technical design and document architecture.
- Supervise technical aspects of projects and mentor peers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute tasks.
- Identify and fix system bottlenecks and performance issues.
- Recommend technologies and improve system reliability.
Qualifications
We require 4-7 years' experience in backend software engineering specifically in distributed systems and data pipelines. Strong proficiency in GoLang and Java, deep technical understanding of technologies such as Kafka, Kubernetes, Orkes, Redis, PostgresQL, and familiarity with AWS cloud platform are essential.
Candidates must be adept in CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and observability tools. Excellent communication and mentoring skills are required, as is the ability to work effectively in both independent and team environments.
Location & Travel
This role is remote but based in Bangalore, India (with options for Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Telangana, Maharashtra, and New Delhi). Occasional travel may be required for team and project meetings.
