Join Twilio as an Information Security Analyst working on risk management initiatives. You will drive the maturation of our global risk function within a modern hybrid cloud, microservices, and telecommunications infrastructure.
About The Job
The role is for a technical "doer" responsible for the entire risk lifecycle—from daily ticket analysis and deep-dive assessments to automating workflows for our One Twilio Risk program.
Responsibilities
- Risk Assessment & Analysis: Conduct daily risk ticket analysis and in-depth assessments.
- Framework Tailoring: Mature the risk management framework using standards like NIST RMF and ISO 27005.
- Workflow Automation: Build and optimize automated workflows bridging compliance and engineering productivity.
- Strategic Triage: Integrate compliance frameworks to provide a unified view of risk.
- Risk Communication: Convey risk impact clearly to technical teams and executives.
- Pragmatic Problem Solving: Implement practical security risk solutions to enable business operations.
Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years direct experience in Security Risk Management with a strong track record on risk frameworks. Proficiency in security architecture, networking, cloud platforms, and automation (Jira expertise preferred) is required. Strong quantitative and qualitative risk analysis skills and ability to communicate complex technical details to non-technical audiences are essential.
Location & Travel
This role is remote with the candidate based in Ontario, British Columbia, or Alberta, Canada. Occasional travel for team meetings may be required.
