Job Description
Industrial Electrician
TWI Foods Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team. This is an on-site position where you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in our industrial facility.
Responsibilities
- Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
- Instruct apprentices on electrical systems and safety protocols.
- Maintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, and reactors.
- Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems.
- Maintain inventory of stored electrical materials.
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems and related devices.
- Interpret and apply electrical code specifications.
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs and meticulously keep maintenance records.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine layout for industrial electrical equipment installations.
Qualifications
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to 2 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician.
- Proficiency in English.
