Customer Service Representative (m/f/d) - Industrial Services & Cybersecurity
At TÜV Rheinland in the Industrial Services & Cybersecurity division, we are looking for talents ready to shape the future of industry and accompany technological progress. Our focus is on digitalization and networking in industry, as well as the further international expansion of our services in renewable energies and the support of major infrastructure projects.
This applies to the functional safety of industrial plants in times of rapidly increasing networking of components and machines – keyword Operational Technology Security – as well as to energy generation, use and distribution, and infrastructure and network expansion.
Our Core Areas
- Pressure Vessels & Plant Technology: Inspection, testing, and certification services focusing on pressure equipment such as pressure vessels, boilers, tanks, and piping systems.
- Elevators & Conveying Technology: Inspection, testing, and certification services for elevators, conveyor belts, escalators, cranes, and machinery.
- Electrical & Building Technology: Assessment, inspection, testing, and certification services for electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems.
- Industrial Inspection & Material Testing: Comprehensive inspection and testing services for industrial plants and their materials.
- Infrastructure & Project Management: Project and construction supervision, as well as integrated services for infrastructure projects.
- Energy & Environment: Technical support, certification, and testing for renewable energies and sustainable solutions.
- Cybersecurity & Functional Safety: Testing and certification services for industrial automation, IT, and OT security solutions.

Tasks & Responsibilities
- As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for commercial order processing, from order maintenance through to the checking and processing of expert services to invoicing.
- You will be responsible for the continuous controlling and maintenance of your assigned orders and projects (invoicing potential and value).
- Furthermore, you will prepare payment requests, support the receivables management in clarifying and following up on receivables as needed, and process invoice complaints (receipt, system maintenance, solution finding).
- Your tasks will also include processing travel expenses for technical employees, setting up and maintaining test objects, and creating reports as needed based on templates.
- Other administrative tasks will complete your profile (e.g., digital filing of documents, operation and maintenance of customer portals).
Experience & Further Qualifications
- Completed commercial apprenticeship, preferably in the area of office management, banking, or industrial clerk, as well as sound knowledge in commercial order processing (invoicing, order controlling, complaints, affinity for numbers) combined with interest and a good understanding of technical contexts.
- High customer and service orientation combined with a meticulous, independent, and results-oriented approach.
- Strong organizational talent and teamwork skills.
- Good PC skills (MS Office desirable), experience in using SAP based on a modern S/4 HANA environment is an advantage.
- Fluent German language skills and basic English skills.
