Job Description
We are recruiting for a Senior Planning Engineer to work on high profile construction projects. As part of the project controls team, you will provide performance reporting and analysis support, either as part of a large team or as the key day-to-day client contact.
Main Purpose of Role
The Senior Planning Engineer works on a high profile construction project delivering robust performance baselines and progress reports.
Duties
- Collaborate with cost and planning engineers to develop work breakdown structures.
- Establish progress and cost monitoring methods.
- Produce project control reports and performance analysis.
- Provide recommendations to clients based on analytic insights.
Experience & Qualifications
The ideal candidate has experience in a project controls environment within the Infrastructure sector (e.g., Airports, Rail, Utilities or Defence). Proficiency in earned value management, progress updating, cost control, change control, baseline management, reporting in a P6 environment, and familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Excel, Primavera, Oracle, and SAP is expected. A qualified graduate with relevant work experience is preferred. Security clearance or eligibility to obtain one is desirable.
