Job Objectives & Responsibilities
As a Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for establishing processes, templates and tools to set baselines for cost and schedule and monitor performance against them. Your main duties include:
- Identify trends and recommend corrective actions based on performance indicators.
- Evaluate project time, cost and quality targets with necessary governance controls.
- Collaborate with a remote team of cost managers to achieve a market tested baseline.
- Act as the key point of contact for clients, resolving delivery and commercial issues.
- Control costs through conceptual estimating, contingency principles, and procurement guidelines.
- Create executive level cost reports and dashboards.
- Lead change management processes and planning workshops with clients and vendors.
- Coordinate vendor schedules and enforce adherence to master schedules.

Planning Engineer: project controls, cost management, scheduling, risk, Primavera P6, MS Office, change management, procurement, workshop facilitation, financial reporting.
Qualifications & Skills Required
Proven experience in project controls in life sciences, data centres or similar sectors. Advanced skills in MS Office and Primavera P6. Reliable, autonomous, strong team skills, excellent time management and a commitment to providing excellent client service.
