Role Overview

The ECC Project Manager role is designed for experienced Project Managers skilled in the NEC Supervisor role. This position offers the opportunity to work on industry leading infrastructure projects across transportation, utilities, and highways.

Main Purpose of Role

Carry out the role of Supervisor under the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract with strong on-site construction delivery experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand project documentation including drawings and specifications
  • Provide on-site supervision and ensure project outcomes
  • Manage project meetings, reporting, and client communications
  • Adhere to the NEC suite of Contracts and Contract Notices
  • Travel to site as required

Desired Qualifications & Experience

  • NEC ECC PM / NEC Supervisor Accreditation or ability to achieve accreditation
  • Experience in construction phase on infrastructure projects (highways, utilities, etc.)
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience chairing project meetings and strategic reporting
  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering; additional certifications (ICE, APM, RICS) preferred

Scope & KPIs

Projects typically range from £10m to £25m. Success is measured by project quality, timely delivery, budget adherence, effective team leadership, and achieving client objectives.
