If you are looking to broaden your industry experience and progress your career in project management, the PM Infrastructure Scotland team is seeking experienced Project Managers for the NEC Supervisor role. This is a senior position working on leading infrastructure projects across transportation, utilities, and highways.
Main Purpose of Role
Carry out the role of Supervisor under the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract. The role requires understanding project documentation including drawings and specifications, along with on-site construction delivery experience.
Key Responsibilities and Skills
- NEC ECC PM / NEC Supervisor Accreditation or ability to achieve accreditation.
- Experience of construction phase in infrastructure projects (highways, structures, utilities, etc.).
- Ability to travel to site and provide on-site supervision.
- Manage compliance with construction design and project documents.
- Good industry knowledge on legislation, environmental and statutory consents.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in chairing project meetings and reporting.
- Knowledge of the NEC suite of Contracts.
- Preferably experienced in leading Project Management Commissions on large or complex projects.
- Ability to act as the key client interface ensuring project objectives are met.
Scope
Projects handled by this role typically fall within the £10m to £25m range. The Project Manager / NEC Supervisor is evaluated on project quality, timeliness, budget adherence, stakeholder satisfaction, and internal financial monitoring.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Civil Engineering.
- Experience on large scheme projects (£100m plus preferred).
- NEC: ECC Project Manager and NEC Supervisor Accreditation.
- Chartered/qualified with ICE, APM, RICS is a plus.
