Job Description

Turner & Townsend are leaders in servicing the Data Centres, Life Sciences, Pharma, R&D facilities, Industrial, Manufacturing, Distribution & Logistics sectors globally.

Job Objectives

As an experienced project controls professional in life sciences or data centres, you will establish the required processes, templates and tools, and set the baseline for cost and schedule while monitoring performance and incorporating risk, opportunities and change in a controlled manner. You will:

• Identify trends and root causes of deviations and recommend remedial actions.
• Lead evaluation of the project's time, cost, and quality targets with governance controls.
• Work with a remote team of cost managers to meet market tested cost baselines.
• Guide and influence the general contractor to meet schedule and cash flow parameters.
• Act as the client point of contact to address delivery and commercial issues.
• Control costs using conceptual estimating, funding stage gates, and procurement principles.
• Create or work within cost reports and executive dashboards.
• Lead and manage change management processes and workflow.
• Coordinate planning sessions and compile master project/programme schedules.
• Collect vendor lead times and communicate material ordering prioritization.
• Define vendor schedule requirements with the client.
• Participate in risk evaluations and perform monte carlo analyses for quantitative impacts.
• Ensure timely and accurate schedule updates from vendors in the master schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project controls across project lifecycles in life sciences or data centres.
• Ability to derive corrective actions based on detailed data analysis.
• Advanced skills in MS Office and Primavera P6.
• Commitment to providing excellent service and strong time management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with remote teams.
