About the Role

TTTECH in Tampere is seeking a Senior Digital Design Engineer to design safety-critical communication IPs in chip development. Work on cutting-edge technologies from concept to customer integration.

Your Tasks

  • Tackle complex digital design challenges in deterministic and safety-critical communication IPs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document technical requirements.
  • Develop detailed design specifications and innovative design concepts.
  • Implement RTL coding in VHDL and perform synthesis for FPGA and ASIC platforms.
  • Lead customer integration projects ensuring smooth deployment.
  • Work closely with experienced engineers in a collaborative environment.

Your Profile

  • Several years of hands-on experience in digital design engineering.
  • Strong expertise in Ethernet switching and VHDL design; C knowledge is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ASIC development and embedded systems is advantageous.
  • Process-oriented mindset with innovation and adaptability.
  • Excellent communication skills and cross-cultural teamwork.
  • Solid command of English, written and spoken.
  • Analytical and structured approach to problem solving and project execution.
