Medical Science Liaison Dermatology at TSP, a Syneos Health company

Responsibilities
- Building, maintaining, and developing robust scientific partnerships as the regional contact for medical-scientific questions.
- Planning of interactions and personal visits in the territory including documentation, organizational preparation, and administrative tasks.
- Ongoing observation of market and competitor activities, as well as analysis of regional network structures for proactive acquisition of strategically relevant insights.
- Identification, acquisition, and support of qualified external experts and establishment of relevant medical networks.
- Conducting and moderating indication-specific lectures, scientific trainings, and supporting medical speakers in presentations.
- Organization and implementation of regional training and expert meetings, including budget responsibility.
- Collaboration on clinical study projects: study support in collaboration with Global Clinical Operations, supervision of non-interventional studies (NIS), and support of Investigator Initiated Studies (IIS).
- Participation in congresses and symposia, preparation of congress reports, and on-site scientific support.
- Evaluation and discussion of preclinical and clinical project applications, as well as active participation in ongoing medical projects.
- Identification of regional care gaps and derivation of measures to improve the care situation in collaboration with experts, professional societies, and associations.
- Planning and execution of trainings for the field force in coordination with medical management, Training & Development, Sales, and other relevant departments.
- Close, cross-departmental collaboration with internal stakeholders such as Marketing, Sales, Market Access, Training, and Medical Affairs.
Requirements
- Completed university degree in medicine, pharmacy, or natural sciences, preferably with a doctorate.
- Ideally several years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry, especially as an MSL. Experience in dermatology is a plus.
- Ideally experience in conducting or supervising clinical studies, NIS or IIS.
- Very good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability for strategic thinking and implementation of medical strategies.
- High degree of personal responsibility, proactivity, and ability to prioritize.
- High social competence and very confident demeanor.
- Ability to quickly and independently familiarize oneself with new indications and subject matters.
- Experience in project management and working in cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of guidelines and legal requirements in healthcare.
- Knowledge of health policy contexts.
- Basic knowledge of biometric statistics.
- Very good MS-Office skills (Word, Excel, MS Projects).
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken, for international communication.
- High willingness to travel.
